How Does God Speak
Hebrews 1:1-2


 1.  The testimony of the Bible is that God has spoken.

            He is not impersonal. 

            He is not unknown.

 2.  The Bible tells us how God has spoken in the past

            He spoke at many times.

            He spoke in many ways.

He spoke through particular people.

            God revealed himself in 5 ways:

            1.  He revealed himself in Theophanies

            2.  The angel of the Lord

            3.  God spoke in an audible voice

            4.  God revealed his will through the Urim and Thummim

5.  God spoke through the prophets

Could this message be corrupted? Could the prophet change his message? 

The integrity of the message of the prophet was divinely ensured.

3.  The Bible tells us that this has changed.
