DESIRING GOD
Introduction
1. The desire for pleasure is God-given.
2. We should work with this natural motivation rather than against it, as the Scriptures do.
3. God has the right to define proper motives as well as proper behavior.
4. God has commanded that we seek pleasure in him. Ps. 37:4, Ps. 98:4
God only commands us to recognize the truth Ultimate pleasure is found in the enjoyment of God. See Ps. 16:11
5. God delights to be the source of our highest pleasure. Ps. 37:23
